"Bells Will Be Ringing!"

I believe too elaborated wedding may please relatives and the community, but it may leave the newlyweds and families physically exhausted and financially drained.  I also believe slavish and perhaps competitive conformity can overshadow the meaning of the occasion.  It can rob the couple of the joy that they should have.  Keeping in mind the feelings of others, the groom is primarily responsible for deciding what will go on at the wedding reception.

The wedding lasts for just one day, but the marriage lasts for a lifetime.  We should avoid concentrating too much on the act of getting married, but look to God for guidance and plan ahead for a life of marriage.  This way we have prepared well for a successful marriage.
